Patrick's Day Around Chicagoland - Chicagoland Real Estate Forum

Saturday is St. Patrick?s Day, and there?s aplenty going on around Chicago.

At 10 a.m., the Chicago River will be dyed Irish green, an annual event that only happens in the Windy City. The best place to view this is between Columbus and Wabash or the intersection of Michigan Ave., Wacker Dr. and the river.

The Saint Patrick?s Day Parade always falls on a Saturday whether St. Patrick?s Day does or not, and this year it does.

The parade steps off at noon at Balbo and Columbus and will proceed north on Columbus to E. Monroe. There will be viewing stand in front of Buckingham Fountain.

For tips on how to make your St. Patrick?s Day and every day more green, check back to Chicago Real Estate Forum over the weekend.

The day then continues with tons of activities and Irish entertainment throughout downtown Palatine. There will be a collection area of food, clothing and donations to benefit Journeys from PADS to HOPE, which help the homeless and near homeless in the North and Northwest suburbs.
